Mid-level Product Designer (Hardware)

Reports to: Head of Technical

Location: Bromborough, Wirral

Hours: 35pw

Salary: Negotiable

We have seen fantastic growth during the past few years and an opportunity has opened up in the design team for two exceptional contract product designers. The role is initially a 6 months contract but may become permanent following this contract period. As part of our multiskilled design team, you will be working on cutting edge digital solutions for some of the world leading brands. ‘Delivering Extraordinary’ is our company vision and it is reflected in everything we do.


We are looking for skilled, experienced designers who can hit the ground running on high profile projects. You will have exceptional design skills and experience of taking products from concept to production, on time and on budget.

Essential Qualifications/Skills

  • Product design degree
  • Exceptional concept development and visual communication skills
  • 3-4 Years industry experience in a product design role
  • Advanced Solidworks skills including sheet metal fabrication
  • Sheet metal fabrication knowledge and experience of designing complex metal products
  • Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Exceptional rendering and presentation skills
  • Able to manage time effectively
  • Project management


  • Electrical and electronics experience
  • Photography and videography skills
  • Passion for new technology

The role will primarily be carried out in the Company’s premises in Bromborough, Wirral; in addition to which visits to suppliers, customers or trade shows may be required.
