Express Yourself

The UK giftware market is now worth over £5 billion so understandably companies fight to take a slice out of this competitive pie, and a product that appeals to this diverse demographic can do very well. K2 Greetings, a UK based greeting card and gift company approached us to help realise their vision and diversify their already 1,000 strong product catalogue with a major new innovation.

The idea was to create a product, “Creation Express”, that would allow customers to personalise mugs and other gifts in minutes, not having to settle for off the shelf products in a currently beige market. By uploading their own photos and writing bespoke text, customers could have their gifts produced whilst they wait. Evoke’s design solution was an exciting and eye catching point of sale with a central, touch-screen kiosk where the magic happens.

We took K2 Greetings through our development process; sketching ideas, CAD development and prototype fabrication. The modular design approach which we pioneered allows the Creation Express to be configured in hundreds of different ways: mug shelving, card shelving and illuminated signage which can fit into any store layout. This extends the Creation Express brand life cycle, as new and exciting additions can be retro-fitted and return on investment is maximised. From concept through to production, we’re proud to have helped K2 Greetings install the Creation Express in independent retailers all over the UK.
