Senior Software Developer

Our growth has created some exciting opportunities within the Software Development team and we are now looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic and multi-skilled team. The opportunity would suit a senior or mid-level developer looking to take the next step in their career – you will be fully involved in the software development lifecycle including architectural decisions, solution analysis, client engagement and implementation. This is an exciting opportunity to work with world famous brands delivering cutting edge products.

You will be a vital part of the team and will grow quickly within the business. As an important team member, you will be helping shape our technical solutions and working practices in an environment which focuses on agile software delivery. You will have a passion for Software Development, creativity and prototyping, a thirst for knowledge and an innovative and flexible mindset.

Who we’re looking for

The successful candidate will be a good communicator, who is able to confidently discuss technical concepts and contribute to architectural decisions. We predominately develop using the Microsoft development stack including C#, Web.API, SQL Server and .NET Core, in addition to technologies such as Electron, TypeScript, Angular, Vue.js and InfluxDB.  Experience with Linux and C++ will also be advantageous.

A keen interest in new technologies, clean code principles and Agile working practices are essential for any new member to the Evoke Software Development Team.  A passion for continuous self-development and an involvement in the North West Software Development Community through meet-ups and conferences is also desirable.

  • BSC Computer Science or equivalent
  • C#, HTML, Javascript, CSS, Angular 2, SQL Server

The role will primarily be carried out in the Company’s premises in Bromborough, Wirral; in addition to which visits to suppliers, customers or trade shows may be required.
